Welcome!

We're glad you're here!  Please know that everyone is warmly welcomed to join us for our weekly gatherings for worship and fellowship.

What to expect:
  • Our services are rather "traditional" yet somewhat informal
  • Dress in whatever you find comfortable and you deem appropriate for worship
  • Singing is congregational - a mix of a-Capella, accompanied by piano or occasional a guitar.  We use both a hymnal and worship songs projected onto a screen
On the third Sunday of each month an informal potluck meal is served in the basement following the worship service.

9:00 AMSunday School Classes for All Age Groups
All Sunday school classes are currently using material called "Gospel Project" which is published by Lifeway Christian Resources. It is a three-year study of the Bible beginning with Genesis and ending with Revelation.

August 3 - "Ask For Wisdom" (1 Kings 2 - 3).  Note that David's parting words to Solomon were for the new king to walk in God's ways.  Reflect upon the fact that Solomon could have asked for anything from the Lord, but e asked for wisdom and discernment for the role the Lord had appointed him to.  Key Concept:  Wisdom from God is better than riches.

August 10 - "Work with Wisdom (1 Kings 6;8).  Notice that god reminded Solomon that walking in His ways was the prerequisite for His dwelling with His people.  Reflect upon God's glory, which is more magnificent than any building human beings could make to contain it.  Key Concept:  God desires to dwell with His people.

August 17 - "Live with Wisdom (Ecclesiastes 3).  Acknowledge that while we long to know the future, only God knows His purpose for everything.  Celebrate that God is awe-inspiring and just in all His ways.  Key Concept:  God's timing is perfect, and everything is a gift from God.

August 24 - "Share God's Wisdom (1 Kings 10).  Consider that as believers, we always have opportunities to share godly wisdom with others.  Recognize that as we live out our faith, God's love should be seen by others who don't yet know Him.  Key Concept:  Sharing God's wisdom points people to Him.

August 31 - "Learn God's Wisdom (Proverbs 4).  Recognize that God's words are wisdom for the right path, leading to long life.  Note that neglecting God's words leads us down a difficult and foolish path.  Key Concept:  Staying focused on God's path keeps us from stumbling.
